Our Web Based Supplier Tracking system allows your suppliers/Freight forwarders to log on and keep you in the picture.
HOW IT WORKS
Your orders are uploaded to a web site so that suppliers are able to log on and see/download orders specific to them.
When the goods are ready to ship the supplier notifies the system. You are then notified and the shipment is given an authorization number, a method of despatch and a nominated freight forwarder is assigned.
The nominated forwarder is then alerted to the collection requirements and indicates when the goods are scheduled for collection.
When the goods arrive in the UK the reciept is logged and the main business system is updated to say the purchase orders have arrived.
Further more the Suppliers and Freight forwarders are able to quote the authorisation number on all paper work making it much easier to trace invoices to shipments.
